The Sorrows

I have just completed the score to 'The Sorrows'; the debut feature from film makers Phoebe Gittins and Arty Papageorgiou.

The mix is it's final stages at Park Road Post Production with Gilbert Lake and Tim Chaproniere manning the boards.

One of the great pleasures of this project was getting the opportunity to score scenes that featured one of my all time favourite actors, Bernard Hill! What a champion!!

Peter Greenaway's 'Drowning By Numbers' is one of my most favourite films of all time (in which Bernard Hill is brilliant as 'Madgett' the coroner). This is the film that showed me, as a teenager, that the medium could be more than just car chases and explosions...this and 'Truly Madly Deeply' were the first films I fell in love with.

'The Sorrows' also features the lovely Oona Chaplin (pictured above) and Reece Ritchie .

It has simply been a brilliant experience.

A great crew of people to collaborate with and a lot of fun on the way!
